You won't notice the difference.īy enabling the combat log (in announcement.txt), we tell the game to open the red Alert window whenever there's a combat event. Howl_5 does not add much to the game so it doesn't matter if the file is silent. Adamantine.ogg is the least used soundfile, so we're using that for combat. Trying to add new sounds for the game to use does not work for some reason, so it is necessary to rename and replace the original files for the game to accept them, which is what we're doing here. You can quickly, see who is fighting what so you can focus on more important matter than care about two underground dwellers going at it with their fists. This lists all events for all units at the same time, and does it in real time (not paused). The default ingame combat log only lists the events for one unit at a time.
